Situated in the Barossa Hills area which includes Keyneton, Flaxmans & Eden Valley, the name is derived from the local Aboriginal language 'Karra' refers to the Redgum trees of the area and 'Yerta' means country. A family owned vineyard, the vines are dry-grown, hand picked and very low yeild, the riesling vines are over 80 years old.
