Mottura’s vineyards are located in the Salento region in Italy’s deep south, in the sunny heel-tip of the famous boot. Family run since its founding in 1927, the winery maintains a longstanding commitment to native grapes of the region including the Primitivo and the Negroamaro. The vineyards are between 10 and 60 years old and soils are either volcanic red earths or calcareous white soils, producing intense and full-bodied wines.
La Sorda is a single village wine (the village is Lapuebla de Labarca) from Spain’s Rioja Alavesa region. This specificity a very unique trait of this wine’s production. The wine itself as a Rioja is a tempranillo-dominant blend.
Poli is an artisan distillery founded in 1898 by GioBatta Poli, in northern Italy, west of Venice. Located close to the city of Lucca, in the Tuscany IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) the organically farmed vineyards of I Giusti e Zanza produce wines in climatic conditions not dissimilar to Bordeaux, while the style is very much Italian in the best possible way.
