With a pale straw colour, the nose is aromatic and lifted, with some nectarine, orange peel, blossom and herbal notes of sage and parsley. The palate is medium bodied with citrus, nectarine, apricot nectar and even pink grapefruit. The wine finishes long with apricot and citrus length.
The bouquet is typical of this grape and particularly intense. Its aroma profile is complex with fruity, floral and spicy aromas that show a special finesse. Among them we may experience floral aromas reminiscent of wild rose petal scents, anisette, cotton candy, fresh bread crust and vanilla. That taste is fresh and clean; it shows persistence in the aftertaste and good harmony.
A modern nose, subdued but complex, nectarine and lemon zest with gently toasted hazelnuts. It is all about fruit and texture, stone fruit galore, nectarine, apricot and peach with a loving touch of citrus. The mouthfeel is perfection with a crisp acid line. It is drinking perfectly now, but will continue to evolve until 2025+ if well cellared.
100% Nebbiolo. Bright red with rust orange highlights. Nose has Juniper berry, almonds and anise. Complex dark berry and plum fruit characters are overly present along with elegant, silky tannins and a full bodied structure.
Intense and deep bordeaux red colour. The nose is wonderfully varietal, with plenty of aromas of freshly pressed berries, plums and cherries especially. The palate is lively and rounded, making a wine which is fine for drinking alone but also with good steaks and sausages.
“The Harewood Estate Denmark Pinot Noir has been produced from fruit grown in the maritime subregion of Denmark in the Great Southern of Western Australia. The wine shows a light crimson with hints of purple. A lifted nose of red cherry and strawberry is complemented by earthier, mushroom characters and spicy French oak. Vibrant flavours of raspberry and ripe strawberries are balanced by more complex notes of spice and truffle with a creamy mid palate. The wine finishes with hints of mocha and redcurrant acidity supported by gentle tannins and toasty French oak.”
