In 1957, in the village of Orches in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune area, about 10 winegrowers began a cooperative, knowing they would be stronger together. At the time, they had no idea how big their venture would become, but today the Cave des Hautes-Côtes cooperative, which is the only cooperative wine cellar in the Côte d’Or region, has expanded to 80 members. The Nuiton-Beaunoy winegrowers are proud to be a part of the cooperative and hold the values of solidarity, authenticity, community, and are all passionate about their region and their vines.

The winegrowers of Nuiton-Beaunoy support their responsible environmental policy, promoting respect for the vines, the growing region, and its people. Their ‘Vignerons Développement Durable’ initiative promotes a viable, fair, and sustainable approach from the work in the vineyard, to the production process, to the final product, they take into account the environmental, economic, and social impact of their production.

The vineyards of Nuiton-Beaunoy stretches from Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, amongst forests and grasslands. The vineyards are spread over the region and are made up of a mosaic of climates, producing a wide variety of wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties.

The wine-growing culture of the Nuiton-Beaunoy wines is based on the fruit grown with a close collaboration between the wine growers and the technicians at the Cave des Hautes-Côtes, all of whom share a passion for vines and wine. Their objective is to craft the wines that will become the ambassadors for their region, requiring close attention to detail in their work. While the people of Nuiton-Beaunoy respect the values of their history, they are also committed to adapting and reinventing themselves, without ever denying their roots.
