2013 Rotari Rosé
This excellent-value Italian sparkling is made in the traditional Metodo Classico style from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes, and aged on lees for at least 24 months.
Ideal as an aperitif and with all meals, pairs very well with fish appetizers.
Colour: Soft Pink
Nose: Elegant, fruity, subtle, hints of wild strawberries, currant, and grape stems
Palate: Fresh, fragrant, intense, with hints of yeast and spices, and a persistent delicate bead.
Residual sugar average: 9g
The Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes for Rotari Rosé are grown in the hills of Trentino and hand-harvested. The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested slightly early so to capture the characteristic aromatic notes of red fruit, and to add structure and richness to the palate.
