Fermented (with some solids) and matured in French puncheons (30% new) for 10 months. In the typical elegant, restrained style of Apricus, with the fruit flavours midway between stone fruit and citrus, the oak integrated and balanced. Perfectly well made, but needs a bit of tough love somewhere in the make-up.
92 points - Wine EnthusiastThis bright yellow wine carries aromas of tangerine peel and almond shell. The palate starts off rather light in tones of baguette and Macoun apple, yet lots of swirling reveals notes of lemongrass, fennel, sea salt and vegetable broth. This medium-bodied white offers immense potential at the dinner table with its savory, spicy characters and vivacious dryness. Drink now–2021.
