Quite different expressions of Australian Pinot from the Henty region. I like the point of difference. Some perfume of herb garden, spice and forest floor, old cherries, roses and lipstick. Soft and spicy, lovely sense of decay and earthiness, but fresh too, red berries and spice with gentle emery tannin, and a cool finish of good length, some amaro and orange coming though in the aftertaste. Different. Excellent drinking.90 pts - James Halliday (Halliday Wine Companion)
It's fragrant style has been amplified by the very cool year.
