Not always the biggest fan of this wine but James Kellie has hit the mark in 2018. It is a clasic cooler climate Shiraz - complex and subtle with white pepper, salami, violets and redcurrant fruit. Only midweight but packs a real punch with great fruit concentration in a juicy, savoury style. It is balanced, elegant, complex and long - loved it.90 pts - Andrew Graham (Aus Wine Review)
Lots of flavour, as usual. The estate range for Harewood inevitably delivers bargains, just like this. Black fruited, inky and just a little warm – it’s a big fruit bomb. More depth than some vintages too. Even some leathery spice, which is welcome for a wine that can look un-regional. $20 of juicy Shiraz well delivered. Best drinking: now to maybe eight years for a start.
