There's actually a 15% mix of malbec, cabernet franc and merlot lurking within and a lot French oak 50% new, the blend aged 20 months. Fabulous deep purple with a ruby rim; very bright fruit, a mix of blackcurrant infused with menthol and loads of spices. It's heady but the palate is harder work and more time needed for the oak to integrate.92 pts - Erin Larkin
Fruit from Porongurup, matured in French oak for 18 months. Elegant and pretty with a hoisin/soy edge to the red fruit/ Spicy and fine, this is a lovely cool-climate expression of cabernet sauvignon.
