A light red in the glass with a savoury nose of red cherry, rhubarb and suggestion of spice. The tannins and texture on the palate builds and give depth and dimension to what is a more delicate wine, fruit continues in the red fruit spectrum with earth, faint aniseed and spice before the long dark fruited finish that has a crunchy moreishness.
92 pts - Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)do like a Pinot Meunier. Poached strawberry and spice, a little white pepper. Light bodied, slightly sweet with a benign undergrowth decay, frisky with fine dusty almost peppery tannin, and a good finish. Nice drink here. Could take a chill well too. Easy to guzzle, but with an extra dimension of interest. Presents a bit like a Poulsard, as an afterthought.
