Ripe and fleshy Central Pinot in rude health. Still vibrant ruby, a plush raspberry nose with just a little leaf litter development at the edges, mirrored on the palate. Just a smidgen ferrous and bold, perhaps, but man the Pinosity is grand. High quality, even if I think I’d have preferred it as a younger wine.
93 pts - Patrick Eckel (Wine Reviewer)A medium red in the glass with a classical nose of spiced black cherry fruit with a cool thread of earth and subtle sweeter aromatics of new oak. The palate shows a supple wine with generosity of red and black cherry that has a savoury influence as well as lifted spice from the influence of new French oak. The finish focuses on red cherry, with black tea like tannins and plenty of spice. A lot to like here.
