93 pts - Andrew Graham (Oz Wine Review)

Ripe and fleshy Central Pinot in rude health. Still vibrant ruby, a plush raspberry nose with just a little leaf litter development at the edges, mirrored on the palate. Just a smidgen ferrous and bold, perhaps, but man the Pinosity is grand. High quality, even if I think I’d have preferred it as a younger wine.

92 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)

From the Bendigo sub-region in Central Otago, the wine is matured in French oak barrels, one third of which are new. The colour is a pleasing crimson/garnet and the nose an earthy, savoury style, with root vegetables, notably freshly unearthed beetroot, truffles, smoked meats, undergrowth and game. Good focus in this wine of medium length. It has fine silky tannins and a lingering persistence on a clean finish. Enjoy now and for the next five to six years.
