From Puglia in the heel of the boot that is Italy comes a classic Primitivo, blending cherry and plum fruits with warm earth and soft tannins. Rustic Italian at a bargain price. 92 points. BUY.90 pts - Patrick Eckel (Wine Reviewer)
An intriguing nose, first time I have described a red wine as having a honeyed note, but there is a lingering influence over ripe plum and cedar spice. There is a raw youthfulness to the wine with mouth filling cherry and cranberry fruit. Tannins are fine but firm with juicy acidity and lingering cherry fruit having a spiced edge.
