A quite different style from the Mount Barker tasted alongside. Less fruit and florals in the bouquet, but more minerality. Juicy acidity dominates the palate, wrapping up the lemon and grapefruit flavours tightly to be released with more time in the bottle. Of the group, this is the one asking most to be cellared.
93 pts - Angus Hughson (The Wine Pilot)Sourced near the town of Denmark this is a pretty but shy Riesling style. It has aromatic green apple, lemongrass and citrus fruits that are subtle and delicate. Dry, with jasmine like complexity, it is already superb to drink in an understated almost European style. Drink over the next 5 years.
