A lightly Golden colour in the glass; The nose has citrus blossom, lime, a touch of jasmine and wet slate; all you could want for in a Riesling. There is a chalky minerality to the wine and a nervy baseline of acidity that is exhilarating, fruit sits on the fresh lime side of the citrus spectrum with an interlude of white flowers and green apple. The quality and impact of this wine is truly impressive for the price.96 pts - Angus Hughson (The Wine Pilot)
The vineyards surrounding the granite peaks of the Porongurup Mountain Range make some of the Great Southern’s most distinctive Rieslings in a finer and more delicate style with some classic stony complexity. The wine is pristine and bright with juicy fruits driven home by a lightning bolt of acidity. It is only light weight but also shows great strength and power that will unfurl over the next 5 to 10 years.
