Some skin contact and a cold soak. This fruit was sourced from Heywood and the wine made by Ray Nadeson. Fabulous to see more pinot meunier from this part of the world. A cloudy, light ruddy-red colour with a strong pinot-led nose of red berries, redcurrant, plums and spice with a lick of oak. This is a gently spicy wine, the palate flowing sinewy and fine with neat tannins.
