This range of wine take their names from Celtic mythological characters of old. Maeve is a fierce goddess associated with Sovereignty and the anointing of Celtic kings. The name Maeve means “she who intoxicates”. Our Maeve Shiraz is indeed intoxicating with bright fruit, balanced oak and deep richness.
Color: Deep red and purple hues.
Nose: Deep crimson/red, the nose has lifted black fruits, olivetapenade and lovely chocolate/mocha oak.
Palate: The plate is medium to full bodied with intense sweet blackberry, kirsch, nutmeg/cinnamon spice and roasted meats. The mid palate is smooth, voluptuous and creamy with balanced fine grained tannins and vibrant fruit. With fantastic length of rich fruit, oak spices and nutty oak.
