This is a more subtle wine in the Harewood Estate 2020 lineup, and all about grapefruit and lemon rather than florals. It’s a lovely, gently acidic, drink-me-now Riesling of unquestioned purity. Genuinely delicious. 18/20, 93/100. 12.5%, $30. Harewood Estate website. Would I buy it? Yes.92 pts - Patrick Eckel (Wine Reviewer)
Meyer lemon with fresh lime on the nose with a faint input of jasmine. There is plenty of savoury structure that is in part citrus zest as well as crushed herbs that give a phenolic contrast to pristine citrus fruits. Great intensity of fruit, with lime at the fore and driving length. Lovely in its youth, but sure to be good with time as well.
