Light yellow robe, green reflections. Captivating nose combining white fruits, butter, grapefruit. Opulent, concentrated and nervous palate that deploys generously greedy aromas of a superb persistence. A wine to culminate in a grilled lobster.
In stock.
A cool climate Chardonnay from the maritime Denmark sub region of Western Australia.
A richer more textured style of Chardonnay as opposed to the deliberately leaner.
Nose: Aromas of toasty oak and roasted cashews support rich nectarine fruit with hints of melon leading to a long grapefruit finish.
Palate: The free run juice was fermented in powerful French oak coopered in Burgundy introducing spicey, toasty complexity and rich creamy texture. Additionally, the wine was allowed to go through secondary malolactic fermentation further softening the wine and enhancing the rich savoury textures.
This wine will improve with up to ten years careful cellaring.
