Vintage in 2018 was cool and clear, with the resulting Chardonnay very much in the ‘cool climate’ style. Refined and ‘steely’ this wine is perfect for lovers of Chardonnay with finesse and minerality.
Nose: Bouquet of Poppy lemon skin, grilled grapefruit, melon and berry aromas mingle with toasted sweet nut scents. Crisp melon fruit drives through to the mineral acid finish.
Palate: In the mouth, it is dry with an elegant refreshing acidity. A nice full body with oaky and fruity notes.
Pairings: Would match perfectly with rich fish, vegetables or poultry.

This is a beautiful wine. The Henty Farm 2021 Chardonnay has a gorgeous splay of juicy/briny acidity through the finish that lights up the fruit on the middle palate. There is burnt butter, sage, white peach, green apples, orchard fruit and preserved lemon. A lot to love here—very smart.
