First produced in 1983, this Prosecco is made from glera grown in the cool, high hills around Valdobbiadene, where the Franco family has been making wine for more than 100 years. Flavors of mandarin orange and succulent peach swirl in a satiny texture, that opulence balanced by a slight bite of almond skin and freshened by focused, well-woven acidity.
91 pts - James SucklingLovely expressions of stones, nectarines and green apples here. Pure and fresh, with sweet-apple and citrus flavors on the foamy but sleek palate. Delicate and crowd-pleasing. Drink now.
