A fine Riesling from the Pemberton region in Western Australia, the colour here is a golden straw. It offers a little more richness than one often sees with Riesling, and with three years under its belt, a hint of development. The nose is giving us a lemon butter on toast and honeycomb character with plenty of citrus. Soft texture, a minerally backing, lingering finish and with balance, even with the development to date, there is plenty more to come. Enjoy over the next three to five years, although no need to wait.
91 pts - Kasia Sobiesiak (The Winefront)Quite satisfying ripeness in this wine, citrus-driven, pine needle, honey water and a certain softness to texture along with a line of zesty acidity. It doesn’t knock out with fruit concentration or length but sure is a very nice drink with good balance and fruitiness.
