A composed and restrained Chardonnay from the heart of Burgundy’s Mâconnais sub-region. It is a wine with a solid, stone fruit thread and mealy, nutty savoury oak quite richly defined. Aromas gently floral in honeysuckle and citrus blossom with pear, white peach, nectarine and hints of wild herbs. The middle palate is warm and textural highlighted in nougat, oatmeal with plenty of peach and cashew flavour. A little developed considering its youth, it drops away on the finish.
