Color: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Aromas of raspberries and strawberries with hints of oak and vanilla. 
Palate: Wines from the Greenock sub region are considered by winemakers as being “complete”, meaning have a rich even pallet and variety of complementary flavours. This wine exemplifies all of these characteristics.Deep red tinted with purple and a bouquet that summons chocolate, vanilla, graphite and deep-set blackberry, charred oak noticeable but not dominant; the palate concentrated, full and fleshy with lovely texture and balance, the tannins supple and polished. A year or two to help that oak settle would work well.
94 pts - Andrew Graham (Oz Wine Review)This also comes from the Matcheoss Vineyard, and there isn’t much between this and the single vineyard wine in pure quality. It’s more open though, an extravagant, purple wine that feels brooding and lush, if immediate, and classically Barossan.
