This is immediately appealing on the nose with Black Doris plum, blueberry, rich floral, and warm spice notes. It leads to a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and flowing. It's plump and supple with a long, soothing finish.
93 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)Cute name and terrific packaging for this famous Spanish variety, this example from the Adelaide Hills. The colour is a dark plum/purple. On the nose, there are aromas of smoked meats, cherries, bay leaves, warm earth, chocolate, florals, bergamot, blackberries and a rather pleasing fresh sea breeze note. A delicious drink, this is ripe with bright flavours, vibrant acidity running the full journey and excellent length. Enjoy this any time over the next six to eight years. A really good local Temp.
