On the nose, we have notes of black cherries, smoked meats, leather, dried herbs, mushrooms, bay leaves, plums and aniseed. The structure is seamless, through to the fine satiny tannins and the wine has good length. Oodles of chocolate notes emerge towards the finish. So much to like here. Enjoy this over the next eight to ten years.
