Bibliotheque’s sparkling wine is “Sort of a Brut” – but don’t fear, it’s a long way from Wuthering Heights’ infamously brutish Heathcliff! There’s plenty to like about this balanced, clean, enjoyable drop that calls for another glass.

Pale straw in colour with elegant and lively bubbles, this sparkling is a blend of the classic varietals Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, used in the finest sparkling wines around the world.

Chardonnay gives the wine a creamy, round mouth feel with some nice citrusy characters while the Pinot Noir adds some acidity allowing the wine to finish clean, crisp, refreshing and so good to share. Bibliotheque Sort of a Brut will age gracefully over a number of years but is best enjoyed while the wine is young and fresh showing off its creamy characters, fresh acidity and lively, bubbly nature.
