Thanks to a spectrum of microclimates ranging from Mediterranean to Alpine and profiting from over a century of winemaking experience, Mezzacorona planted varietals in the zones best tailored to the needs of each varietal, allowing them to display the aromas and flavour of their terroir.
Mezzacorona offers single varietal wines characterized by the vivid elegance and crispness typical of the region. It is the largest Italian producer of Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon also have a long history of cultivation in the region. They are vinified in such a way that the varietals’ flavors of forest berries, chocolate and toasted almond are preserved.
EU Sustainable is an audited system of viticultural practice which reduces the use of synthetic fertilisers and herbicides and pesticides. Mezzacorona is owned by and sources grapes from 1,600 families in Trentino, some of whom farm organically, all of whom comply with the EU Sustainable standard.
