A medium red in colour with wonderfully aromatic raspberry leaf and wild strawberry on the nose. There is a lovely sweetness on the palate but set against racy acidity and jubey lollies (red) with a touch of ripe blackberry. Such a unique and delicious wine that has impressive balance.
92 points - Huon Hooke, The Real ReviewDeepish ruby-red colour with a trace of purple on the rim along with some brick-red. The aromas recall red fruits and red rose petals, with overtones of earthy, stony minerals and a plum pips. Curiously, it's not especially muscaty to sniff. The wine is sweet and rich in the mouth, both the sweetness and richness undercut by ample soft tannins. The finish is beautifully resolved, with no single attribute dominating. There is a trace of muscat fruit on the finish and follow-through. An intriguing wine, probably best suited to cheeses
