Located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, the Nicolis family has been passing down the art of viticulture for generations, along with the goal of producing quality wines while respecting their environment.

After years of producing wine for family consumption, in 1951 Angelo Nicolis began to invest in the company for a wider market. Caring for the land is a vital part of the Nicolis philosophy between Angel, who transformed his passion into refined oenology, and his wife Natalia, who has faithfully dedicated herself to the work around the winery. Today, their son Giuseppe is at the helm of the winery, with the goal to produce authentic and refined wines. Together with his children, Angelo and Sofia, they embrace the art of producing quality wine while respecting the environment.

Giuseppe considers each vintage a work of art and is different than the last. Authenticity and elegance are key to his philosophy, selecting only the best vintages for an inimitable and unrepeatable wine. Thanks to a reduced use of sulphites and a wise use of wood, he manages to give the wine the right balance of aroma and taste. Nicolis takes pride in having always operated in a sustainable manner during all stages of the production chain, beginning with the care of the vineyards to the launch of a single bottle on the market. This includes using photovoltaic panels for electricity supply thus falling into the A+ energy class, emergency drip irrigation which allows them to use the least possible dispersion of water, and the use of high-quality natural cork stoppers which not only ensure excellent conservation of the wine, but also reduces CO2 emissions.
