Palate: Jump on this. Chianti from a top-notch vintage for this price? A maroon/plum hue, savoury in style with hints of chocolate, undergrowth, cherries, rosemary bushes, soy, aniseed and roast meats. A mid-weight wine, seamless in structure, with balance, very fine tannins, focus and a lingering finish. Thoroughly enjoyable now, but it can be consumed any time over the next four years. Brilliant value.
90 pts - Stuart Knox (The Real Review)Light ruby red hue with red cherry and mountain herbs on the nose. Medium weighted cherry fruit with dry earth and woody herbs adding character and complexity. Ample grainy tannins accentuate the savoury nature as well as ensuring length and drive to the finish.
