Semillons in Western Australia can taste like Sauvignon Blanc, and so it is here. This is a power pack delivering high voltage vino, a tour de force of cut grass, citrus, passionfruit and fresh herbs. I’m tempted to say that this is the best Sauvignon Blanc I’ve tasted in quite a while. It’s not the most complex wine but it’s 10 out of 10 for sheer drinking pleasure.
92 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)The fruit here is sourced from the highest vineyard in the Denmark region of Western Australia. A pale lemon colour, the nose exhibits hints of citrus, green salad notes and figs. An elegant style, it is fresh though still very youthful with bright, zesty acidity carrying the palate. Everything is in place for it to drink well for the next decade. Impressive length, the wine is clean and vital with good energy.
