Hentyfarm is about artistic expression at its most elemental. It starts in the vineyard, where the relationship with the growers is based on respect as custodians of the land and culminates in wines of finesse and elegance.
The 2021 vintage showcase the quality of these wines, particularly the 2021 HentyFarm Riesling and the 2021 HentyFarm Pinot Gris. In fact, both wines have been sold out for months now!

The small areas within Henty’s region have been making some of Australia’s finest Riesling for almost 30years. In 2015, HentyFarm’s was allocated their first batch of Riesling fruit from an amazing vineyard site in Drumborg.

The Hentyfarm Range of wines was created in 2009 to highlight the incredible but relatively unknown wine region of Henty in South Western Victoria.
First with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir then adding Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier and Riesling, the wines showcase and capture the essense of Australia’s coolest climate mainland wine region in the Hentyfarm bottle.
Henty Wine Region
Dr John Gladstones, the internationally recognised authority on climate and viticulture, names the Henry GI the coolest climate in Australia cooler than Tasmania and the Macedon Ranges.
This is both bane and blessing, for when it’s cold, it’s bitterly so. The rest is all good news, for this region is capable of producing Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot noir of the highest quality.
Henty region wines are generally elegant, long-lived and well balanced with fine natural acidity.
