By: Marketing Categories: Newsletters, Wines

We are excited to share Mezzacorona’s 2024 Sustainability Report and the winery’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable farming and investing in research to minimize agriculture’s environmental impact. Mezzacorona is the parent company behind Mezza di Mezzacorona, Maso di Mezzo, Castel Firmian, Feudo Arancio, Rotari, and Tolloy, implementing these sustainable practices across all of their brands.

A few of their many achievements toward this goal include implementing 100% mating disruption for pest control and avoiding conventional insecticides, reducing water consumption by 21% compared to 2019, and 51% renewable energy meaning over half of their total energy consumed came from renewable resources. Additionally, they’ve completely phased out non-recyclable synthetic caps and PVC caps, opting for sustainable alternatives, and reduced cardboard usage by 17% and steel packaging by 18%. Their journey towards a more sustainable future has been a journey that began in 1983, with a 40-year commitment to the integration of agriculture and nature. Check out the full report here.
