Intense nougat, buttery shortbread, iced pastry, a hint of chardonnay parsnip and a trace of bruised apple—ample aromas, the palate echoing this with richness and generosity, but still tightened and firmed by acidity and gentle grip that dry the finish. Liqueuring level seems on the high side for a prestige blanc de blancs, but there is plenty to like in this wine, if rather expensive.
93 pts - James SucklingA richer style with butter cookie, cooked pear and pineapple aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, layered and flavorful. Creamy texture. Better with food. Drink or hold.
