Vermouth based on Merlot, red wine from a French grape variety cultivated since the end of the 19th century in the DOC of which the city of Bassano is part. Merlot is particularly appreciated for its pleasant fruity notes.
Nose: It’s aroma recalls a grape bunch wrapped by aromatic spices and herbs.
Palate: The aromatic unicity of Gran Bassano Rosso is the result of a masterly infusion of 33 botanicals, among which holy thistle and musky yarrow, characteristic plants of the Bassano area, as well as rhubarb, vanilla, pimento, ginger and liquorice.
