New Kids On The Block
This month we welcomed two new brands to our portfolio: Sunsets and It Wasn’t Me!
Sunsets
A good sunset can stop you in your tracks – sunsets are natural and organic, just like this wine. Rosy sunset skies and rosé wine, a perfect match.
Sunsets Natural Rosé is made from organically grown grapes from Loxton, South Australia. The grapes have lent their colour and texture to this down-to-earth drop that you can enjoy anywhere, anytime, but definitely as the sun goes down.
The Sunsets team are committed to a cleaner future, farming and working organically, whilst reducing their carbon footprint.
Colour: Pale pink hue.
Nose: Aromas of lemon rind and grapefruit.
Palate: Furry and fresh tropical fruit with a zesty citrusy finish, to keep you coming back for more.
Pairing: Enjoy with appetizer dishes such as olives, hummus, melon and prosciutto. Or pair with mains or with shellfish, scallops and oysters, or even grilled chicken all make the perfect partners.
It Wasn’t Me
This wine is the juice of grapes that we picked and squashed in South Australia. The wine was so comfortable in it’s own skin that it fermented itself. It’s so natural that all we did was bottle it.
From time to time during vintage in the winery a mischief maker would ask “who’s been messing with this wine?”
We can simply say, “It wasn’t me.”
Wild fermented, organically farmed, and vegan friendly. Created by Mother Nature, just for you.
Colour: Deep plum, but you can sort of see through it.
Nose: Sweet spice, floral and fresh red berries.
Palate: Dark fruit is supported by very light tannins with a medium finish with lingering blackberry and mulberry notes.
Pairings: A lighter styled red, this is the perfect companion for a BBQ or spicy roast eggplant, you can even chill it, if the mood takes you.
