Color: With a purplish-red colour, this opulent wine reveals a beautiful concentration.
Nose: With notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, enhanced by a toasted and smoky finish due to the complementarity of the Mourvèdre and the barrel. 
Palate: On the palate, we discover a full and complex profile, marked by blackcurrant and garrigue spices. We also find aromas of black olive.Wines from the Rasteau region can come from a wide variety of different grapes, though it is usually very much dominated by Grenache. Here we have some supporting Mourvèdre. This is an emerging region in the Rhone Valley and one which is definitely worth keeping an eye upon. Under Diam. Dark maroon in colour, the nose ranges through a wide array of different aromas, including mulberries, raspberries, charcuterie, bay leaves and cranberries. Quite delicious, there is good focus here and very good length, through to silky tannins on a persistent finish. Good balance and concentration throughout. Enjoy this over the next five or six years.
