Nose: The first aromas to appear are those of gentle strawberry and raspberry, with bakery aromas and subtle hints of cinnamon and spice. 
Palate: On the palate it is juicy and has a fine acidity, leaving a final sensation of beautiful finesse.Rioja rules say that Reserva wines have to be at least 3 years old on release and used to taste a touch oxidized from spending too much time in old barrels. That’s no problem with this young red Tempranillo (mostly) that seamlessly blends ripe red fruits with smoked meats, warm earth and savoury herbs. Smooth palate with good line and length.
91 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)A youthful Temp from Rioja, with a touch of Graciano and Mazuelo, which will provide some thoroughly delicious drinking in its youth, but do not be afraid to put a few bottles away for a few years, for future enjoyment. Dark maroon, there are notes of earth, roast meats, vanilla, florals, spices, plums and blackberries with a hint of sour cherries on the finish. Juicy acidity runs the length and there is a lingering finish. Drink this any time over the next three to five years. Lots to like.
