A brief six months of maturation on lees in tank for this rather delicious Prosecco from the Central Ranges region. Pale lemon in colour with a hint of effervescence, the nose offers notes of pears and apples with a minerally support. The texture is soft and supple, with a line of zesty acidity and medium length. The key is plenty of juicy flavour. A very good Aussie Prosecco. Enjoy this over the next one to two years.
91 pts - Jeni Port (Wine Pilot)A new wine region seduced by the many charms of Prosecco and, what’s more, Central Ranges does a first-class job with the grape. It’s one easy-to-love, easy-to drink, youthful prosecco lively in lemony freshness on the bouquet with white peach and melon. Steps up the energy level with a punchy lemon skin, zesty brightness on the palate, assisted by green apple and more enticing citrussy flavours with a light savoury zestiness to close. Added textural qualities bring immediate drinking pleasure.
