Light and airy, this lovely sparkler has inviting aromas of ripe white stone fruit, spring blossoms and baking spice. On the dry, foaming palate, an elegant perlage and fresh acidity accompany ripe yellow apple, Bartlett pear, vanilla pastry cream and a hint of white almond.
90 pts - Huon Hooke (The Real Review)Full yellow colour indicating its age and possibly use of wood; there's a volatile lift on the bouquet which also hints at oak usage. The wine is rich and full across the palate, generously flavoured and well balanced, with a touch of grip, all in harmony with the rest of the wine, and finishing clean and dry and appetising. Oak seems a little overdone.
