The formula works really well with Rosie, allowing you to have that extra glass of wine as you sit around the pool after a lunch of cold cuts and salads. Cherries and berries and fresh flowers, a hint of apples and citrus and a lovely line of refreshing acidity giving the wine a lift.
91 pts - Shanteh Wale (Halliday Wine Companion)A pretty coral hue. This opens with cranberries, raspberries and crab apple. Crushed watermelon juice and a sprinkle of blood orange citrus. Suitably dry, with those berry flavours circling back at the end. Although this wine has a linear and slippery palate, there is good berry flavour retention and even a touch of tannin grip, however subtle. You won't be missing out with this lower-alcohol option; it's crafted well and drinks well now with cured meats and melon.
