Fermentation includes a small percentage which was done in older oak barrels, the intention being to enhance the texture. A pale shimmering pink hue, the nose offers aromas weaving through florals, a touch of strawberries (strawberries and cream, if you prefer), spices and a hint of watermelon. A soft, refined style, there is a pleasing flick of acidity and decent length. This is an elegant style of Rosé which will make for delicious drinking over the next two to three years.
