The Little Wine Company has been sending me wine for an eon, and I am grateful for that, particularly as they do such distinct things with lesser-seen varieties for the region. Kudos. Pecorino can often veer into lean, undistinguished, plain, dry white wine territory but this ups the ante. Texture is richer than expected, deeper concentration of flavours, a scratch of grip and chalkiness, some tart, tonic and lemon verbena characters in lime, red apple and cumquat. It’s got great perfume, it feels super refreshing too. All up, it ticks a lot of boxes and elevates the variety. Go forth with your summery intent.
93 pts - Melissa Moore (The Real Review)Pale gold in the glass with aromas of wet stone, green almond and light lemon curd. The palate has a steely freshness with acidity that drives the fruit weight, and a refreshing bitter peel note that adds intrigue and makes you want another sip.
