Pristine and beautifully lifted, the bouquet shows apricot, lemon zest, green rockmelon, and white floral aromas, followed by a lively palate filled with juicy fruit flavours. It's brightly expressed with crisp acidity, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2029.
93 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)Another exciting example of the Picpoul grape, transported from its home in France to the Central Ranges. It has clearly taken to its new surrounds. Shimmering pale yellow in hue, on the nose we have an array of aromas including ripe stone fruit, apricot kernels, spices, almonds, sea breeze notes and a hint of beeswax. The wine is balanced, supple and exhibiting very good length with a fine line of acidity. Really impressive, this will drink beautifully over the next two to four years.
