Pemberton in the Great Southern of Western Australia tends to make delicate whites, and so it is here. Elegant white stone fruits and cashews, a hint of toasty vanilla oak, a touch of cream on the palate, all well-behaved and seamless. White fish would be a good match.
90 pts - Huon Hooke (The Real Review)Medium-full yellow colour with aromas of honeydew melon and passionfruit, lightly toasted nuts, while the palate is of medium intensity and fair focus, still somewhat reserved considering its age, and gives the impression it still has some living to do—and more to show us. Good value drinking.

Had tried the 2020 vintage and thought it was great value for money chardonnay given its oak influence and great texture, and, low price. As that vintage had run out I thought I’d try the 2021 and shared a dozen with a friend. We both liked the 2021 so we reordered it.

Great value Chardonnay – nicely oaked in the old world style but not overdone – well balanced.
