The wine finishes with hints of black cherry and coffee bean, supported by velvety tannins and light notes of toasty French oak.One stylish young Pinot, marrying the right amount of weight and richness with elegance. Attractive summer fruit basket aromas in red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant with lifted dried flower florals and spice. A fine almost delicate rendition of Pinot Noir: upfront, red fruited and spiced with textural qualities, before finishing on a sour cherry, morello cherry note. Woodsy spiced oak provides the pulse of this enjoyable, easy drinking wine. More of a short-term as opposed to long-term proposition in the cellar.
92 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)A fine Pinot Noir from the Denmark region of Western Australia and well packaged, love the label. The colour here is a crimson/garnet with a sapid nose of florals, redcurrants, rose petals, mushrooms, aniseed and liqueur cherry notes with hints of undergrowth. A cushiony texture, quite seductive, with silky tannins and immense length complemented by some cleansing acidity on the finish. Now for the next half dozen years.
