The team here quite relentlessly release cracking Riesling which offers superb value. Here we go again (this is a good thing, of course). The usual format here is a blend of the leading sub-regions of the Great Southern, including Mount Barker, Denmark, Porongurup and Frankland River. Just ridiculous value. A pale lemon hue, the nose immediately gives up that typical regional note of a touch of honeysuckle. There are citrus notes and florals, with grapefruit pith to the fore. With medium length and fine acidity, this will drink beautifully for the next five to eight years.
91 pts - Kasia Sobiesiak (The Winefront)It’s pretty remarkable but this has a G&T type of aroma. Juniper and lemon skin, pine needle, tonic water. It’s not hyper-duper complex, but that’s not the point; it’s delicious in that clean and citrus-mint-induced purity. Well chilled and for the price, is a very nice drink.
