97 pts – Huon Hooke (The Real Review): A precision wine of great intensity, minerality and focus. Chalky, lemony nose with a light sprinkling of toastiness. Linearity, concentration, impressive line and length. This is very much a Côte des Blancs/chalky soil style of chardonnay. Lovely balance gives it a clean, dry finish. (dosage 7.5 g/l. 2, 985 bottles produced)

95 pts – Huon Hooke (The Real Review): Aromas of fresh iced pastries, lemon verbena, florals and icing sugar; the palate is softer and rounder than the 2014 Chouilly with quite a fine texture, and seems a tad less dry. Good length. (7.5 g/l dosage. From a hot dry year but a cool side of the Montagne. 3, 114 bottles produced)

95 pts – Huon Hooke (The Real Review): Attractively light, fresh looking colour; the bouquet marks it as pinot noir, wth mushroom, smoky dried strawberry and quince aromas. A fuller, richer, broader palate than the same maker’s blancs de blancs wines, a rounder shape, perhaps not as persistent but very good finesse for a pure pinot noir. (Dosage 6.5 g/l; 2, 837 bottles produced)

93 pts – Huon Hooke (The Real Review): A bright and youthful wine: dry, crisp and light, with a little thickness on the finish from phenolics. Fresh herbs on the nose. A refreshing aperitif style.
