Pungently grassy, with a quenching core of gooseberry and passionfruit. This is moreish. The oak is seamlessly countersunk into the concentrated fruit. A very impressive wine, especially for the price.
90 pts - Angus Hughson (Vinous)This aged release 2019 Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc Reserve is an attractively complex wine, offering layered aromas of passionfruit, honey and melon with a touch of gunflint supported by a gentle spicy oak frame. Dry with a creamy texture, the retreating acidity and toasty development illustrate a wine at the peak of its power and probably best enjoyed over the next two years.
