This SSB is worth chasing though – it’s a cracker, one of the best I’ve seen in the last 12 months – crisp, crunchy and pristine, with razor-sharp focus. Perfect blend of gooseberries, passionfruit, lemons and cut grass.
91 pts - Jeni Port (Wine Pilot)Great value here from Western Australia – the home of SBS in Australia. It’s the classic Western Australian dry white writ large full of lovely, zesty herbals mingling easily with citrus, grapefruit pith, lime with a touch of green bean savvy exuberance – just a touch. Semillon plays its part well with a warm creamy smoothness. Overall, there is good balance and clarity of expression aided by some brisk acidity. The appearance of some perky lime zestiness really enlivens things up.
